My favorite jeans are starting to fray at the knees. How do I stop them from being ruined?
My favorite pair of jeans is growing some frays in the knee, and every time I put them through the wash they get bigger. How do I keep the frays from turning into huge holes and eventually ruining my jeans?
have someone sew a patch on the other side (inside) of your pant leg. it can be the same color as your jeans if you wish, but this should deter some of the fraying and eventually holes from appearing.
also, get a new pair of favorite jeans, they dont last forever :o(
It's time to let go.. You two had a good run, now it's time for some new favorite jeans..
Have your tailor turn into short
Pimp them out and put cool patches and designs on it.
don't wash them or wear them. They will last forever!
if you really like the jeans you probably like the fit from the knees up so cut them off and make shorts.
You can buy iron on patches that come in different shades of blue in the craft department at Wal-Mart. Turn your jeans inside out and iron on the patch to the inside so no one can see it. Or if you like them, they also sell patterned patches and you can use those. This should give the fabric something strong to hold on to and keep it from fraying much more.
u cant unless u patch the knee, but ur better off buying a new pair of jeans
Well you can not retard the wear but you can however put a jean patch behind the knees of the jeans, you can buy these patches or just cut a patch from some old jeans and adhere one to the underside of the legs this will help lengthen the wear of your jeans Good Luck !
